I have a scarf of that same tartan, and, while the colors are the same, it is much darker. The tie is for my grand-nephew, who — by the way — plays in a bagpipe band! And I don't think he'll mind. Also I won't tell him. But I'd still rather have seen the darker shades of the colors, like those in my scarf.
